Brutal murder of a man by beating him with weapons

The incident of brutal killing of Kochi youth with weapons took place in Basanta Nagar on Udanur Road.

The murdered person has been identified as Lakshmi Kant (35) of Santosh Colony.

It is said that the wife's brothers, who came to the house to give gold as part of the Dussehra festival on Wednesday evening, hacked her to death with machetes.

It is said that Shivkanth and Prashant have committed this murder and it is said that Lakshmi Kanth, who was murdered, is the brother of the wife of the deceased.

Lakshmi Kant and Preeti fell in love with each other and got married. Lakshmi Kant was already married, this was his second marriage. After the marriage, Lakshmi Kanta gave eight lakhs to his beloved brothers. Laxmikant often asked to return the money. It is said that the miscreants killed and fled for asking for the money back.

A case has been registered at Ashokanagar police station.
